Rodent infestations in loft spaces may have be contaminated with rodent faeces, urine, carcasses and flies which leaves a high risk of many types of diseases.
Urban Pest Control offer a loft insulation clearance with disposal of contaminated waste. If necessary, we will replace with new insulation on client request.
- A liquid biocide space-spray (ULV) application can be used within the roof space. This is effective against bacteria, viruses and fungi. It is specially formulated to remove the risk of contamination from rat urine and droppings which can transmit diseases such as Weil’s disease (leptospirosis).
- For minor rat and mice infestation where loft insulation does not need to be removed a biocide treatment can be carried out after infestation to remove the risk of diseases.
